Lori Korkola, Lost in the Woods

The boreal forest of northern Ontario shaped Korkola's early years and continues to inform her collaborations with the natural world. Born in Marathon, a small northern Ontario town perched on the edge of Lake Superior. Her formative years were spent in this northern region, surrounded by dense boreal forest. 

Working in acrylics and mixed media with a loose brush style, Korkola’s work has been exhibited in Clarington, Oshawa, Port Perry, Washago, Whitby, and Naksup, British Columbia. Learn more here.
