Victoria Pearce

Typically known for her large-scale sky murals, the Labyrinth Series is a new addition to Pearce’s painting practice. With a defined and linear brushwork, Pearce recreates her travels through nature, specifically locations in Haliburton, Muskoka, Madawaska Valley, Algonquin, and the paths of the Bruce Trail. Pearce has a particular interest in the waterfalls located in these regions.

Pearce holds a BFA from York University and has also studied at the Haliburton School of Fine Arts and the Burlington Art Centre. She currently teaches and paints from her studio in Hamilton and also from her home studio in Oakville. Pearce is the current Vice-President of the Burlington Fine Arts Association and President of the Burlington Arts Council. Her work has been exhibited across Canada and the United States.
