Born in Montréal in 1953, Harrison was enthralled by the Laurentian landscapes as a young child. Following his love of nature and creation, Harrison studied Landscape Architecture at the University of Toronto.
Harrison’s work has been exhibited across Canada and the United States and he has also studied at the Ottawa School of Art. Harrison has received many awards and honours for this painting including Best Solo Artist at the Art Expo New York International in 2016, First Prize at the National Painting Competition of Rêves d’automne in Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec in 2014, and in 2010 Harrison was invited to share his journey as an artist at the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa. Harrison is a juried member of the Society of Canadian Artists and l’académie internationale des beaux-arts du québec.
